Weightlift Challenge
This challenge consists of two events; squat Snatch and squat Clean & Jerk.
The goal is to complete as many repetitions as possible in 150 seconds in the Snatch and 120 seconds in the Clean & Jerk, using a barbell load determined by body weight, height, gender and age. One point is given for each approved repetition. The athlete with the highest score wins.

To compete you need to be able to perform at least two reps in each event.
RULES:
Assume the position in front of the barbell and await the signal to “lift”. The timer starts now.
The lifter must wait until the Down signal or the rep doesn’t count.
Squat Snatch (Men’s or Women’s WL barbell):
The squat after the snatch must be at least parallel to the floor (the hip below the top of the knee). “Power snatch” is Not allowed. Each repetition should start from a “dead stop” (“Bouncing” is not allowed).
Squat Clean & Jerk (Men’s or Women’s WL barbell):
The squat after the clean must be at least parallel to the floor (the hip below the top of the knee). “Power Clean” is Not allowed. Each repetition should start from a “dead stop” (“Bouncing” is not allowed).
Equipment:
Chalk (Magnesia), wrist wraps, lifting shoes & taped thumps are allowed, but other than that no equipment is allowed. It’s mandatory to wear clothes that makes it easy to see your knees, hips and elbows (i.e T-Shirt/Tank top, Shorts/Thights or Hot pants).
